HYDROPONICs
Hydroponics is a type of horticulture and a subset of hydro culture which involves growing plants usually crops without soil, by using mineral nutrients solutions in an aqueous solvent.
Hydroponics requirements unit is made up of PVC pipes, hydroponics cup, coir, coco powder, trichoderma powder, water,and bucket and spinach seeds etc.
Procedure
- First of all clean your hydroponics unit
- Take 1grams of trichoderma in 100grams of spinach seeds
- Take 10 litters of water in a bucket and put 10 grams of trichoderma powder in it
- Put the coco powder60%+ cow dung40% mixture, it is media for microbes and also a sours of organic carbon and then wait for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes
- Remove the water from the mixture by your hands gently then take hydroponics cup put coir less than half of the cup after that put coco powder in the cup and sow spinach seeds or any other leafy vegetable seeds then again put a little bit of coco powder on it, and keep it to the hydroponics unit properly.
After 7 days of time duration observation
EC: electric conductivity always between 1800 – 2200 is necessary
PH: potential hydrogen is always title bit acidic for example 6 – 6.5 is necessary
