Preparing Compost Fertilizer
Materials: Straw, leaves, manure, water, etc.
Procedure:
- First, prepare a bed measuring 30×90 feet.
- Create a layer of straw and leaves, and sprinkle a slurry of manure on top of it.
- Again, make a layer of straw and leaves 18 inches thick and sprinkle the slurry of manure on it.
- Sprinkle water evenly over the entire bed and cover it with a jute sack.
Compost fertilizer contains various plant-based and animal-based materials. It is an excellent fertilizer made by decomposing organic matter from rural and urban areas with the help of microorganisms.
