Today’s classes were a wonderful mix of learning, creativity, and interesting discussions.

The day began with a story-time session in the classroom. Sir shared the fascinating history of the pressure cooker. He explained how it was invented, how it works using steam pressure, and how it eventually became a common household appliance in India. It was surprising to learn that such an everyday object has such an interesting story behind it. The session was both educational and engaging, making us look at a simple kitchen appliance from a completely different perspective.

After the story-time session, we moved on to our fashion designing lessons. Today, I learned how to draw a 4-tucks blouse on paper. Tai explained the process carefully, including the measurements and placement of the tucks. As I practiced the drawing, I understood how these small details contribute to the overall design and fit of a garment. It was a valuable learning experience that improved my understanding of blouse construction.

We also studied the Katori Blouse and completed important notes related to its pattern and design. The lesson helped me understand how this style provides a better fit and enhances the final appearance of the blouse. Learning about different blouse patterns is helping me build a stronger foundation in fashion designing.

Later, we went to the computer lab, where I continued working on my Fashion Designing PowerPoint presentation. I spent time adding new information, organizing the slides, and improving the overall layout. It felt satisfying to see my presentation gradually taking shape and becoming more professional.

Looking back, today was a productive day filled with knowledge and creativity. From learning the history of the pressure cooker to exploring new blouse designs and making progress on my PPT, every session taught me something valuable. Days like these remind me that learning can be both enjoyable and inspiring.
