The period from 9th June to 12th June was filled with practical learning, creativity, and skill development. During these few days, I gained valuable experience in blouse making, garment construction, and fashion-related learning activities.

On 9th June, I learned how to cut a 4-tucks blouse on a blouse piece. Tai explained the measurements, markings, and cutting process in detail. It was interesting to see how the design we had previously practiced on paper was transferred onto fabric. After completing the markings, we continued with the cutting of the blouse piece. This practical activity helped me understand the importance of precision and accuracy in garment construction. Later, in the computer lab, I continued my Alison online course and watched fashion-related videos that introduced me to new trends, design ideas, and techniques used in the fashion industry.

Over the next few days, we continued working on blouse-making activities and improved our understanding of garment construction. Through practical sessions, I learned more about handling fabric, taking accurate measurements, and preparing pieces for stitching. Each activity helped me become more confident in my fashion designing skills and gave me a better understanding of how garments are created from the initial design stage to the final product.

On 12th June, we started working on a new blouse-making project. This was one of the most exciting parts of the week because it gave me an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills I had learned in previous classes. Tai guided us through the initial steps, explaining the measurements, markings, and construction process. I carefully followed the instructions and learned the importance of proper planning before beginning the stitching process.

Along with the practical fashion designing sessions, I continued learning through digital resources in the computer lab. The Alison course and fashion-related videos helped me expand my knowledge beyond the classroom. I learned about different fashion styles, garment designs, industry trends, and creative techniques that can be used in fashion designing.

These four days were a wonderful combination of practical work and theoretical learning. Every session taught me something new and helped me improve my understanding of fashion designing. From cutting a 4-tucks blouse to beginning a new blouse-making project, I gained valuable experience and developed greater confidence in my abilities. I look forward to learning more advanced techniques and continuing my journey in the world of fashion design.
