A multimeter is a multipurpose device used for electrical measurements. With the help of this, various electrical quantities can be measured. What can be measured with a multimeter? Voltage (Voltage – V) AC (alternating current) and DC (constant current) voltage can be measured. Current (Current – A) The electric current flowing through the circuit can be measured. Resistance (Resistance – Ω) The resistance of a resistor can be measured. Continuity Test (Continuity Test) It can be checked whether the wire or circuit is broken or not. Diode Test (in many digital multimeters) It can be checked whether the diode is in good condition or not. Main parts of the multimeter Display (Display) – Shows the measurement.
