Safety

1.Before carrying out any repair work, ensure that the main power source is switched off and the fuse is removed, and a

“Work in progress” sign should be placed near the fuse.

2. Rubber gloves and rubber slippers or rubber boots should be used when

performing electrical work in the power distribution department.

3. Ensure that the equipment and electrical board are properly earthed in the power distribution section.

6.The tester should only be used to check whether there is electrical current, and should not be used as a screwdriver.

7.When doing electrical work, use equipment with proper electrical insulation.

10.A suitable fire extinguisher kit should be available in the department, its expiry date should be checked.

11.After an injury, a first aid kit should be used. First aid kits are available at the Home Health Department.
