Today was a very useful learning day for me because I worked on different practical activities. As a student, I believe that practical knowledge is important because it helps us understand things better than only reading them in books.
1. Learning About Batteries
Today I learned about different types of batteries and their uses. I saw that batteries are available in different shapes, sizes, and prices. Some common types are AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V batteries. There are also rechargeable batteries, which can be used many times.
I also learned how to check a battery. One simple method is to use a multimeter and check the voltage. We should first select the correct voltage setting and then touch the positive and negative terminals with the meter probes. The reading helps us understand whether the battery has sufficient voltage or is weak. We should always handle batteries carefully and avoid connecting the positive and negative terminals directly.
2. Interview and Domestic-Level Connection
Another important activity I did today was making a connection related to an interview at the domestic level. This activity helped me understand how communication and practical knowledge are important in daily life. During an interview, we should speak clearly, listen carefully, and answer questions confidently. I also understood that preparing before an interview can make us more comfortable and confident.
This experience taught me that learning is not limited to the classroom. Talking with people and understanding their experiences can also give us valuable knowledge.
3. Drying and Collecting Moringa Leaves
Yesterday, I checked and prepared moringa leaves for drying. Today, I observed the leaves in the solar dryer. I found that the leaves were completely dry. The drying process removed moisture from the leaves and made them suitable for storage.
After checking that the leaves were properly dried, I collected and stored them carefully for future purposes. This activity helped me understand the importance of solar drying for preserving agricultural products. It is a simple and useful method because it uses sunlight and can help increase the storage life of leaves.
