17 June 2026Today started with breakfast, and after that I went to the Asmita Department to begin my work for the day. I continued working on my blouse and carefully followed each step taught by Tai. I paid close attention to the cutting, stitching, and finishing process so that my work would be neat and accurate. While working, I also observed the techniques used by others, which helped me learn different methods of garment construction. Every practical session gives me more confidence and improves my sewing skills.During the day, I also took some time to go through the IGNOU Fashion Designing syllabus. I read about the different subjects included in the course, such as Fundamentals of Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Sewing Techniques, Fashion Illustration, and Communication Skills. Reading the syllabus helped me understand what I will learn in the future and motivated me to improve my knowledge and practical skills. After reviewing the syllabus, I returned to the department and continued my blouse-making work with full concentration. After lunch, I continued working on my blouse and practiced the techniques that Tai had taught us. I tried to complete my work neatly and improve the finishing of the garment. After dinner, I spent time completing my Ready Rangoli design by making the final changes and adding the finishing touches. By the end of the day, I was happy with the progress I had made in both my practical work and my creative project. It was a productive day filled with learning, practice, and creativity.
